Today, we’re celebrating Women’s Equality Day which commemorates the certification of the 19th Constitutional Amendment in 1920, giving women the right to vote.

100 years ago, brave women fought for and won voting equality and that fight continues today to close the wage gap, equalize educational opportunities, end discrimination, provide access to health and reproductive care, and much, much more.

Women Must Achieve True Equality

In our business, as in our lives, we celebrate equality for women and work to a build fair, equitable and inclusive organization that allows our community members to thrive. Gender equality is a cornerstone of this belief – equal pay for equal work, an end to gender discrimination and sexual harassment, affordable reproductive healthcare, educational equity, an end to gender-based violence.

Actions are Stronger Than Words

To show our solidarity (and put words into action), we are donating 20% of our sales for the next 7 days (8/26-9/1) to Equality Now, with the mission to achieve legal and systemic change that addresses violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world. Equality Now works to create a just world where women and girls have the same rights as men and boys. They tackle the most difficult issues, challenging ingrained cultural assumptions and calling out inequality wherever we see it. And they use the power of the law to create enduring equality for women and girls everywhere.
